In the spring of 2013, the AEF communications committee began talking about updating its web presence and making the website easier to update in order for the staff to manage it better.

Board member and chair of the communications committee Gary Jahnke is a business owner. He operates Huzzard Systems in Appleton, an application development and bar code integration company. Understanding the importance of an up-to-date website, Gary offered up the time and talents of his web and app designer Sam Farrell.

A meeting, several emails and a hundred-or-so hours of work later, and we are proud to launch the new AEF website.

We realize this site will always be a work in progress. We will be looking for additional content that is valuable to our friends and community members and will strive to improve the ease of applying for grants and making gifts to support education.
