Benefits and Contest Rules

This campaign will run August 24-October 2, 2026. Although contributions will be welcomed at any time, October 2 is the last day they will be eligible for the benefits and contest.

There are 34 AASD teams. All teams are listed below. Your school/department is included on your personalized invitation. The top team with the highest giving percentage^ and top team with the largest participation increase* over last year will each receive $200 grants. Teams ranking 2nd – 5th in each category will be entered in a drawing to win a $150 grant. One $150 grant will be awarded for each category.

^To be eligible for the highest giving percentage prizes, at least half of a team’s donors must be enrolled in payroll giving and individual one-time gifts must be $10 or greater.

*To be eligible for the increased percentage prizes the gift types and minimums as noted above are required, and at least five staff members must have participated during 2025-26.

Everyone who gives $3.50 or more per pay period will receive an AEF cooler bag.

All payroll givers, regardless of amount, will be entered in a drawing to win an AEF gift basket~.

Sponsored by Appleton Education Foundation (the “Sponsor”), 122 E. College Ave., Ste. 1B, Appleton, WI 54911. NO DONATION NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. DONATION WILL NOT IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING.

  1. This incentive promotion begins on Monday, August 24, 2026, and ends at 11:59 a.m. Central Time on October 5, 2026. Entrants must be legal residnets of Wisconsin, at least 18 years of age.
  2. The winners will receive an AEF gift basket and/or other gift cards valued at $10-$25. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received.
  3. Any Appleton Education Foundation donor who gives via payroll deduction or a one-time gift to the #give2learn campaign will be eligible for one entry into the sweepstakes.
    Entry without donation can be made by mail only by sending a letter with proper postage to Appleton Education Foundation, Attn: #give2learn drawing, 122 E. College Ave., Ste. 1B, Appleton, WI 54911, containing name, age, and address. Only one entry per qualified person. Entries void if incomplete or not legible. All submissions become the property of the Sponsor.
  4. A payroll commitment, gift, or entry letter must be received by the Sponsor by 11:59 a.m. Central Time on October 5, 2026. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, or misdirected payroll commitment forms, gifts, or submissions.
  5. All winners of the sweepstakes will be selected (randomly) from all valid entries by October 7, 2026. All gift cards and the AEF gift basket will be sent to winners via Appleton Area School District mail within two weeks of the drawing.
  6. Employees of the Sponsor (Appleton Education Foundation) and members of their immediate families are not eligible to participate.
  7. By entering, all entrants hereby agree to comply with these Official Rules, represent that he/she is eligible, and consent to the use of his/her name and/or photograph for publicity purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. All entrants release Sponsor, and their employees, directors, officers and agents, parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies from any and all claims or liability in connection with their participation in this promotion. Entrants agree to hold harmless Sponsor, and their employees, directors, officers and agents, parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies from responsibility for damages, losses, or injuries, including death, personal injury, or property damage due in whole or part, directly or indirectly, from participation in this promotion or acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize.
  8. No substitution or transfer of prize or redemption for cash equivalent, except by Sponsor due to unavailability, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify this promotion if not capable of completion as planned, and to award the prize as of that date as provided above.
  9. The names of the prize winners will be announced no later than October 9, 2026.
  10. Those individuals that qualify and comply with the Official Rules for the AEF gift basket and weekly gift card drawings are automatically entered into the drawing as their commitments/gifts are processed. Additionally, those people who submitted an entry outside of the automatic qualification process are also entered into the spreadsheet.
