Despite the 85+ degree weather outside, inside room C101 at Fox Valley Technical College it felt like Christmas morning. Over 100 iPad minis and iPad 4s were distributed to AASD early childhood and learning disabilities teachers.

Thanks to a generous $39,000 grant from the Bemis Company Foundation this new technology was purchased over the summer.  Today was the day teachers were able to get their hands on the iPads and start learning and prepping.

The iPads are loaded with top-rated apps for teachers and students to use. Each LD classroom will also be equipped with a blue tooth keyboard and headsets.

Come the first day of school it will be hard to tell who is more excited about this addition of technology: the teachers or the students.
