Join us for a day of golf supporting education!
28th Annual Event: July 17, 2026
10 a.m. shotgun start | 18-hole tournament
1 p.m. shotgun start | 9-hole tournament

The Appleton Education Foundation holds an annual golf outing as its major fundraiser. The event, held at Winagamie Golf Course, helps support the overall work of the Foundation as well as generate about $17,000 in prize money for immediate grants to AASD schools represented at the outing.
To make the outing interesting, unique and also educational, the Foundation initiated the Masters Knowledge Challenge in 2006. Community sponsors submit multiple-choice questions that are placed on tee boxes. Each foursome, as a team, answers the questions during its round of play. Teams’ final scores are based on their golf game as well as their performance on the quiz.
Each team that participates in the outing represents a school within the Appleton Area School District. The teams compete for cash prizes that benefit students at the winning schools.
