Despite the rainy and cool weather, nearly 200 golfers joined us for the 24th annual Knowledge Open on Friday, July 15.
In the Knowledge Open all golf teams play to support an Appleton Area School District school. This year 18 schools were represented. More than $16,000 will be awarded as unrestricted grants.

Thank you grants to the Appleton West and North golf teams will also be awarded in appreciation of students’ volunteer time.
The Knowledge Open is more than a golf outing. Teams’ scramble scores are lessened 1/2 a stroke for each correct Masters Knowledge Challenge quiz answer. That’s right… the outing is also educational. Quiz questions highlight interesting facts about the Foundation, school district, and other topics important to sponsors.
